Peter Schön
Peter is passionate mountaineer and skialpinist with ascents and descents on 7000 m mountains in Andes, Tien Shan and Pamir, where he made the first ski descent from Shkhara (5193 m, Georgia, Caucasus). Furthermore east Pik Pobedy (6793 m, Kyrgyzstan, Tien Shan) or north-east walls (50-55°) Mkinvartsveri/Kazbek (5034 m, Georgia, Caucasus). He also conquered all 5000 m peaks in Georgia.
Nowadays Peter lives in Austria, where he is engaged in snow and avalanche research. He is member of Professional Canadian Avalanche Association and works like an avalanche technologist and ski guide in Norway. Part of the year he also stays in Armenia and Georgia.
By the way point of his each travel is taking pictures, where he tries to catch spirit of the mountains.
